Get to know Melissa
As a dedicated US Air Force veteran, I have cultivated a unique blend of skills and experiences that inform my work as an educator and counselor. With a bachelor's degree in education, my passion has always been communicating ideas in ways others can easily grasp. Additionally, my master's in pastoral (Christian) counseling has been foundational in creating space for Christ to heal the brokenhearted. A specialization in trauma has equipped me with the tools to understand and support individuals facing PTSD, and attachment challenges through approaches like EMDR therapy. A unique blend of the two words is melded into my special approach. My commitment extends beyond the counseling office, striving to uplift and empower individuals who might not be able to access private pay counseling services. My mission is to help others heal and gain new perspectives on their lives, fostering resilience and personal growth.
My Life...
When I am not working I can be found participating in one of my favorite hobbies. I love traveling with my husband to see National Parks with our little black fuzz ball Lucy Lu Lu. In my home you might see one of the many paintings that I have painted.
